Τμήμα Διοικητικής Επιστήμης και Τεχνολογίας, Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών

 

Ο Δημήτρης Παπαδόπουλος είναι Επίκουρος Καθηγητής του τμήματος Διοικητικής Επιστήμης και Τεχνολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών (ΦΕΚ 437/27-03-2019 τ.Γ΄). Εκπόνησε τη διδακτορική του διατριβή στο πεδίο της αριθμητικής ανάλυσης, στο Τμήμα Επιστήμης και Τεχνολογίας Υπολογιστών του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου. Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζουν στην αριθμητική ανάλυση και τις εφαρμογές υπολογιστικών μεθόδων.
Διαθέτει πολυετή διδακτική εμπειρία στην τριτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση σε προπτυχιακό και μεταπτυχιακό επίπεδο, με διδασκαλία στο Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών, στο Ελληνικό Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο, στο π. ΤΕΙ Δυτικής Ελλάδας καθώς και στο π. ΤΕΙ Μεσολογγίου. Συγκεκριμένα διετέλεσε επιστημονικός/εργαστηριακός συνεργάτης από το 2008 έως το 2019 στα τμήματα Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων του Τεχνολογικού Εκπαιδευτικού Ιδρύματος Δυτικής Ελλάδας, Τηλεπικοινωνιακών Συστημάτων & Δικτύων του Τεχνολογικού Εκπαιδευτικού Ιδρύματος Μεσολογγίου και Διοίκησης, Οικονομίας και Επικοινωνίας Πολιτιστικών και Τουριστικών Μονάδων του Τεχνολογικού Εκπαιδευτικού Ιδρύματος Δυτικής Ελλάδας. Επίσης, έχει διατελέσει συνεργαζόμενο εκπαιδευτικό προσωπικό (Σ.Ε.Π.) στην ενότητα ΔΗΔ-22 (Ποσοτικές Μέθοδοι) στο Ελληνικό Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο.
Έχει συμμετάσχει ως μέλος της ερευνητικής ομάδας σε πλήθος εθνικών, ευρωπαϊκών, αλλά και αναπτυξιακών έργων, ενώ το συγγραφικό του έργο αποτελείται από δημοσιεύσεις σε διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά και συνέδρια με περισσότερες από 400 αναφορές στο ερευνητικό του έργο στη διεθνή βιβλιογραφία.
