Dr Konstantinos C. Giotopoulos holds a Diploma, MSc., and PhD in Computer Engineering & Informatics from the University of Patras, Greece. Since 2020, he has been an Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor since September 2025 in the Department of Management Science and Technology at the University of Patras, with a specialization in “Intelligent Information Systems in Management, Economy, and Labour Market Data Analysis.” He is also a member of the Entrepreneurship & Digital Innovation Lab (E.D.I. Lab).
He has more than 20 years of professional and administrative experience in European and national projects, having served as scientific coordinator and manager in numerous research and development initiatives. His academic experience covers both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in areas such as Management Information Systems, Customer Relationship Management, Digital Governance, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Advanced Database Systems.
His research interests include Information Systems, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence applications, Digital Transformation and e-Government, Web Data Engineering, Big Data Analytics, Intelligent Agents, and Virtual Learning Systems. He has published extensively in international journals, conferences, and book chapters, contributing to the fields of intelligent systems, digital transformation, and data-driven labour market analysis.
